Lord, today as I sit in the parking lot at school with the hustle and bustle and the morning madness past I breathe a deep sigh of relief… as I look up I see one of the beautiful things that make me so refreshed in life a tiny, thick, full, luscious patch of grass with spatterings of morning dew displayed in various densities… I think, wow, how I would love to fall into that grass, if it were a field and roll through it smelling the fresh sweetness and feeling the cool, dampness touch and prickle my skin to life… I sigh again, smiling at the thought of that fresh new dawn dew, smelling that sweet blade of grass… in my mind I immediately drew it from it’s sheath, tasting, biting, sucking gently the sweet inner flavor of the blade once hidden in its sheath now freshly squeezed between my teeth… I sigh dreamily think… and suddenly I realise I just imagined what our favourite psalmist so famously wrote “He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.”

These are the green pastures I was praying about this morning… here displayed for me to take and drink in before the day starts… thank you Lord for Your great favour to show me Your provision, Your hand of favour and Your immense grace in this tiny moment staring into a patch of grass.
So, if you, on a tired day need a moment to stare out the window, take it and ask God to show you His magnificent grace and provision ask him to take you from the mundane and ordinary into the heights and depths of what He has planned for you. Remember if you ever wonder what the Lord could have planned for you just read “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”
