Know that you are not alone, know that God is always there, even when we don’t sense it in the natural, He is always there. In some of the toughest parts of my life, where I found out that the entire life I lived with my family was a lie, that my family who professed to be true, real Christians my whole life, one of them had been lying and cheating on our family and stealing the very essence of intimacy from us, each of us and we had built our entire lives on a lie.
At this time, when I couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep, couldn’t cry… I was existing to take the next breath and even that seemed unsure at times… in this deep, dark night of the soul… daylight and night had no distinction… God seemed a million light years away from any possible thought or consideration… I felt the Lord nudge me to read my Bible.
I couldn’t understand the words, I didn’t know why God was calling me to do this, none of these words matched with the mess in my mind… it was kinda like reading nvbgfkabgulriugabavr airueh iarh iwau fihfirh….
in the middle of this confusion, the Lord gripped my soul and held me, there in the confusion of His words, He found me, He held me… in that quiet moment, He showed me, sometimes we can’t understand with our minds, we have to let go of all human thought and understanding and let Him, Almighty God into our hearts and allow Him to speak or hold or just be with us.
If this is you today, know that He is there and He has put you on my heart, not just today but for more than a year now, I have been praying for these desperate hearts in desperate places… Please look to God, first, Mat 6:33, He is looking and waiting for you!
He loves you so much He has had me and other people like me praying for you before your situation changed and became difficult.
God knows, knew and knows what is to come, He is current in your past, current in your present and current in your future. See while you and I can only be present in our current time and space, He, Lord God Almighty can and is currently present in past, present and future. So you can ask Him to change or show or do something in your past, present and future and He will be able to do that. He has showed me things from time past that helped me realign my current state. He has showed me the invisible state of my heart at the present in order to bring me back in line…yip… it hurts… it’s so worth it… you don’t want to miss the opportunity… He has shown me the future that I needed to pray for in order to change it and He will do the rest, we need only listen and obey.
He loves you!! Never doubt that, and when He shed His every last drop of blood and water on the cross for you, He married you that day in the Spiritual… think carefully on that… He would only do this in true love… lean on Him…
